Terms & Conditions for Craft Social Yorkshire

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the booking and attendance of craft
workshops and private bookings hosted by Craft Social Yorkshire (“the Company”,
“we”, “us” “facilitator”). By booking a place for a workshop, you (“the Participant,
“you”, “your”) agree to abide by these T&Cs.

2. Workshop Booking

2.1 All workshop bookings must be made through our website, phone, or email.

2.2 A workshop booking is confirmed once payment has been received in full.

2.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse a workshop booking at its discretion,
including but not limited to availability or non-payment.

3. Payment

3.1 The full price of the workshop must be paid at the time of booking.

3.2 Accepted methods of payment include credit/debit card, PayPal, bank transfer.

3.3 Prices are subject to change, but once confirmed, your workshop booking price
is guaranteed.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cancellation by the Participant:
If you cancel more than 48 hours before the workshop, a full refund will be issued,
minus a non-refundable £5 deposit per person.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop are non-refundable.

4.2 Cancellation by the Company:
If the workshop is cancelled by us due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness,
weather conditions), you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

4.3 No-show:
If you do not attend the workshop without prior cancellation, no refund will be given.

4.4 Transfer of Workshop booking:
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your workshop booking to another
participant with prior notice to the Company.
Transfers will only be accepted if the new participant is eligible for the workshop and
available space remains.

5. Private Bookings

5.1 Booking a Private Workshop:
Private workshops are available for customers who wish to book a tailored session at
a specific time and location for a group event.
To secure a private workshop, a non-refundable deposit of £10 per person is
required at the time of booking via bank transfer/PayPal.
The deposit is used to confirm the booking and is non-refundable in the event of
cancellation by the client. Upon receipt of the deposit, a final balance will be sent to

you. The final balance must be paid in full no later than 48 hours before the
event date.

5.2 Group Size:
The minimum number of participants for a private workshop is 8 and the maximum is
20. If fewer participants attend than initially booked, you will either be charged for the
minimum number of participants or for the number of participants stated at the time
of booking.

5.3 Customisations:
Private workshops may be customised according to the group’s needs. Please
discuss your requirements with the Company in advance, including any specific
themes or materials when discussing your booking.

5.4 Cancellation of Private Bookings:
For private bookings, the following cancellation policy applies:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking date will receive a
refund for any monies paid above the deposit amount of £10 per person.
If the private booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the event date, no monies will
be reimbursed. Cancellations made prior to the 48-hour window are subject to all
other cancellation/amendment terms outlined in this document.

5.5 Changes to Private Bookings:
Changes to private bookings, including rescheduling or adjusting the number of
participants, must be made at least 7 days in advance.
The Company reserves the right to charge an additional fee if the number of
participants is amended, or if the session is rescheduled outside of the Company’s
availability.

6. Liability

6.1 The Company takes all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable
experience for all participants.

6.2 The Company is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during the
workshop unless caused by the Company’s negligence.

6.3 Participants are responsible for their own safety and must follow all instructions
given by the facilitator.

6.4 The Company is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings
during the event.

6.5 Participants must inform the Company of any medical conditions, allergies, or
other relevant information that may affect their participation in the workshop.

7. Accidents and Injuries

7.1 In the case of an accident or injury during the workshop, the Company will take
reasonable steps to assist the participant and seek medical attention if necessary.

7.2 The Company shall not be held responsible for any medical expenses arising
from an injury.

8. Code of Conduct

8.1 Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly throughout the
workshop.

8.2 The Company reserves the right to remove any participant from the workshop if
their behaviour is disruptive or poses a risk to others. In such cases, no refund will
be issued.

9. Notice of Cancellation by the Participant

9.1 Should you wish to cancel your workshop booking, you must provide notice via
email or phone at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled event time- please see
refund policy above.

9.2 Failure to provide timely notice will result in the loss of your deposit.

10. Changes to Terms & Conditions

10.1 The Company reserves the right to update or amend these T&Cs at any time.

10.2 Any changes to these T&Cs will be communicated to participants via email or
through the website/workshop booking platform.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

11.1 Personal data collected during the booking process will be used solely for the
purpose of processing your booking, communication about your participation, and
compliance with legal obligations.

11.2 Your data will not be shared with third parties except for necessary service
providers, unless required by law.

11.3 By booking, you agree to our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any
disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and
Wales.
